I really didn’t love the texture. It felt sticky and kind of cheap, not smooth like I was expecting at all.

At first I was happy with it, the color went on easily and looked good for maybe a couple of months. But after around 3 months or so, it started wearing off in spots. For the time and effort, I wouldn’t bother doing it again

I used this on both my leather and vinyl seats and, i was a little confused at first about whether it would match both materials the same way. But after taking my time with it, the color turned out close on both. It just definitely took some patience.

I had what I thought would be a simple return, but apparently that was asking a bit much. I followed the return instructions, sent the item back, and then waited for my refund. And waited. I had to reach out multiple times just to get updates, which was super fun, obviously. Each response made it sound like things were being handled, but somehow nothing actually moved forward until I kept pushing. I eventually got my refund, but the whole process was unnecessarily slow and annoying. Not exactly the smooth customer experience I was hoping for.

The site was easy to use. I was happy that I could find the product details without digging around, and the color help actually made me feel more confident about what I was picking. I did get a little annoyed on my phone because a few pages felt kind of busy, but then once I found what I needed, I was fine again. Overall, it was a smooth enough experience.

I didn’t really know there was going to be so much cleaning and getting-it-ready stuff before I could actually use it. It took me kind of forever, and it felt a little too fussy for what I was expecting. Maybe other people don’t mind that part, but for me I got annoyed quick.

I really wanted this to work, but it took forever to cure and was still tacky days later. Maybe I got a bad batch, but the whole thing was frustrating and not something I’d want to deal with again.

I tried Rub ’n Restore on an old leather seat of mine that had some cracks and kind of faded, worn-looking spots.

At first it did look a bit better, I guess, but after not very long the cracks started showing through again. The worn areas also didn’t really blend in the way I was hoping, so it felt like I put in a decent amount of effort for just a sort of small improvement.

Maybe it works okay on lighter wear or an easier project, but for deeper cracks and heavier use, it just wasn’t really worth it for me. I probably wouldn’t buy it again...

I had to wait a bit for replies, but they did eventually get back to me and answered my questions. One email took a couple days, which was kind of annoying since I was trying to finish the repair. Overall they were helpful enough, just not as quick as I was hoping lol.

I used this on my old couch and the smell was better than I expected. It had a mild paint kind of scent at first, but it faded after about a day. I did keep a window open while using it, which probably helped. The product worked fine overall, I just wish the odor was a little less noticeable right at the start.

So far it’s held up really well. I was expecting it to start peeling like the last ones I tried, but nope, it’s still looking good. Happy with it tbh

My order showed up fast and everything inside was totally fine, the only thing was the box had one corner that looked kind of beat up like it had a rough trip, but nothing leaked or broke so it wasn’t a big deal, they could probably pack it a little better next time but overall I’m happy with it.

It felt way too expensive for what I actually got. I also kind of felt left in the dark about what to expect, so when it arrived, it was disappointing.

I used Rub n Restore on an old leather chair that was looking tragic, i was bracing myself for a whole ordeal. But the coverage was surprisingly good. I really thought I’d burn through the bottle, yet that little thing somehow kept going and going. The worn spots did need a couple coats, but nothing too dramatic. Once it dried, the color looked really nice and brought the chair back from the brink. It’s not absolute perfection, but for the price, I’m impressed.

The color was in the ballpark for my couch, but reading between the lines, it’s not a perfect match. In regular lighting it looks decent enough, but if you know where the repair is, you can still spot it. It’s not bad overall, I just thought it would blend in a little more than it did

I don’t know why, but the instructions just weren’t very clear to me. I had to read them a few times and still felt a bit unsure about what I was supposed to do.

I ordered from rubnrestore.com because I figured it would be one of those things that shows up within a few days, or at least within a normal shipping window, but it ended up taking a lot longer than I was expecting. The most frustrating part was that the tracking information barely seemed to update, so I kept checking it and still didn’t really have a clear idea of where the package was or when it was actually going to arrive.
The product itself might be totally fine, and I’m not really commenting on that as much as the whole waiting experience, but the delay was definitely annoying. I had planned to use it for a weekend project and by the time it finally got here, that window had already passed, so it kind of defeated the purpose for me. Because of that, I’m not sure I’d order from them again unless I absolutely wasn’t in any hurry.

I followed the directions carefully, so I’m not sure what went wrong. It’s weird because part of me thinks it kind of worked, but overall it didn’t look anything like the photos. Maybe other people will have better luck, but I’m disappointed and probably wouldn’t use it again.
